Hamilton model 21 marine chronometer.
On its way to its new home on Saturday. A chance exchange here on the Omega board, in a thread discussing marine chronometers, several members (myself included) posted their model 21s. This gave rise to a regular on the board who suggested how lucky one had to be to acquire one of these machines. I happened to know of a model 21 that was for sale, and I mentioned it in the thread. I got a PM from a regular on the Omega board who wanted to know more. Long story short! It happened. This chronometer will travel several thousand kms to its new home, and the new owner asked if it could be serviced before it is sent. So service it, I did. Three people are very happy. The previous owner, the new owner, and me who was able to facilitate the transaction.
