A friend across town called me yesterday knowing I'm into watches. He's an avid garage/estate/rummage sale attendee and reseller.

He had dug up some watches and wanted to know if I was interested, so I went by his house and came home with this wondeful Longines.

I'll try to take some better photos later today, but for now a wrist shot.

That looks like an original bracelet to me.

The condition is stunning.

Would that be a 35x movement?

I haven't opened it yet so not sure on the movement. I was thinking 340.

I think the bracelet is original, but owner removed some links and clasp and had some stretch links installed.....unless Longines did this. The stretch links match the bracelet awfully well, and an unusual signed link just before the stretch links.

Bracelet is legit - these Longines “Nautilus” bracelets came in a few different forms. Here are some others (dibs on your bracelet should you decide to sell btw..):
