Green Hue DON bezels - Speedmaster 2998s

Hi Everyone!

Came across this lovely 2998-3 advertised on the Web, and found it interesting that the DON bezel was similar colour to my own 2998-2

What was even more interesting is that the serials are both 1776xxxx. Has anyone got examples of other green bezels?

Also it makes me wonder, could this DON possibly be original to my 2998-2 if it is close to the change over to the 2998-3?

A few others have posted green bezels in the last year or two. Hopefully they will chime in. I’d they don’t I’ll see if I can find some. Beautiful watches (yours and the one for sale).

If I recall correctly, the DB also have a killer 2915-3 with an amazing green bezel.
They are so rare, indeed...
