I would like to take a moment on this American Thanksgiving Holiday to express my gratitude to @Trev, @dsio and all the mods that keep these forums going. I would also like to thank the members for making this a great and supportive community. The knowledge and community I have gained through these forums has been priceless. I also really appreciate the Marketplace where I can buy and sell with friends. Happy Thanksgiving to all! I hope the American members all have a wonderful time feasting with Family and Friends!

Indeed. Life is generally good if we can spend our time discussing watches etc. So life is good and thanks to our hosts for running the best forums on the web.

I will withhold my annual “the true meaning of the Thanksgiving holiday” story and join my brother Wag in the sentiment of thankfulness and humility before all that have brought us joy, comfort, stimulating debate and commiseration.

Happy thanksgiving!

Wish I had some Turkey here. All we have are the wild ones running around outside but very poor quality stuff in supermarkets.

haha... I see so many turkeys on my morning run, but I think cornering one and shoving them in to a bag is frowned upon. 🙄

Turkeys are for sandwich meat. And an occasional batch of osso boco-style braised turkey legs. T-giving dinner tonight was a veal chop and roasted sweet potato washed down with a walnut old fashioned. Funny thing is my son and wife are in London right now, and had a 'traditional' US t-giving dinner (turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberries, etc.). I think I get the better part of the deal -- the veal chop was delicious.

Happy Thanksgiving!

OF is a special place and I am thankful for the opportunity to participate. Where else can you find a group of thoughtful individuals willing to share information and knowledge about watches and many other things and create a sense of community? Nowhere. I enjoy the interactions with many OF members and have experienced some budding friendships as a result. Thank you to the creators and administrators of OF.
