Picked up this 14390-61-sc for a family member

Pretty sure its been redialled but didn't cost very much at all

Overall pretty decent condition they will be over the moon with it

not the best day to take pics

I know some get up in arms about redials, but I think that one looks quite nice. I’m sure your relative will enjoy it!

The dial looks pretty good. This manual wind is a good choice to give to a family member because the movements are so robust and ultimately, very reliable. They can take a lot of abuse and still keep running - don't get it wet though.

Any particular reason you think it's a redial? It looks original to me. I can see that the minute markers aren't quite centred on the hours at 10 and 11, but I have seen this on original dials.

The paint seems to be creeping up the the 3 and 6, which to me suggests redial.

from the pictures online it should have lume plots at the 3-6-9-12 this has black dashes plus the paint finish is not quite what you would expect from omega of that era

I saw that but I thought it was scratches on the crystal. There's a similar effect on the 7 marker which looks to me like scratching.
I'm pretty sure I've seen at least one vintage Omega with lume plots omitted at Arabic quarters, though I can't recall the reference. But you've got the watch in hand so you can form a better judgement of the paint finish than I can.

I do a similar thing as you. I pick up reasonable vintage watches on my dime for family in another country. They are always pleased and I think they appreciate everything I’ve sent them, even the yellowed dials. I know they would be pleased with the watch you have shown.
