Got the snoopy call from Omega

Got the call from Omega last week and now in possession of snoopy, exactly 4 years after I joined the wait list.

At this stage I am not convinced by the nylon strap so may look to replace that

That’s a great story to everyone who thinks they’ve been forgotten. 4 years is quite a wait but congratulations and enjoy it. You like to wear a watch snug on the wrist so bracelet with micro adjustment would suit you perfectly and the watch. The Cordura strap should have been an additional with that package in my humble opinion.

Probably a little stiff is the common complaint. Tends to rise the case up off the wrist esp if not somewhat broken in. Its awesome strap but it just doesn't wear well with the case. imo

I changed for the bracelet.

Congrats! I didn't like the nylon strap either so switched it to the bracelet and love it!

Nice! I also got a notification back in Oct and now its apparently coming in before the end of the year. I want them to order me the bracelet with it though and I'm not getting much help there, I don't know why. they want me to talk to after service for that

I love the way it looks on the strap, but on the wrist I just didn’t care for it. For the exact reasons as mentioned in previous posts.

yeah i got some good news that they ordered the bracelet. the rep said its a bit thicker, they still need to try, but I kept reassuring her that tons of people are doing this succesfully

Well I also picked it up yesterday. For me 4 years and 3 months. I had gone cold on it honestly but then I felt like maybe values will still go up since trump is in and he loves crypto and last time the crypto bros definitely drove up values. I know people have the speculation angle but for me I don't separate. I love collecting but also love keeping the collection in a net positive state, it a fun part of the game for me.

Seeing it in real life now though, it's very enjoyable, more intricate than it looks on pictures and like the silver dial that looks white in pictures. Before only had the barleycorn moonwatch and definitely appreciate how this case design fits on the wrist.

Nice, but I have both versions of that on my other 3861s. For now I'll try the strap and see how it goes, I'll only wear it once or twice a week. I can't wait to see it in person because in every picture the dial looks white.

Got it! We worked on the strap breaking it in and I think I will be ok with it. But she's pricing a 57 bracelet also.
