Nice result, I don't go for most Tropic models because they're either too short or they don't taper correctly - the US looks a bit too wide for me
It is wide, and thicker. It works on bigger watches like the Sub or even my Helson, but is just too bulky for vintage 37< divers.

I have a friend who has both an Isofrane and the Borealis and he prefers the Borealis. And my Helson (also above) is a tank. Some of these micro brands do some good stuff!
Yes, the Borealis is more comfortable, as it thins more towards the ends than the genuine Isofrane. it's also easier to thread the end of the strap through the keepers. But the hardware quality on the Iso is s notch above.

Actually I have one genuine Isofrane in 22mm, and several Borealis in 20 and 22.

Right, which is why the revamped official Tropic is worth the $80 - it really is excellent in all ways, save the 20mm issue.

(And it also smells a bit like lube)

Got rubbers? I don’t remember how long it has been since I was asked that question!

Rubber B for Rolex is top dog and superlative quality.

As far as Omega ....If you don’t want to overpay for the OEM (I recommend you do if you can), then I really like Zealande !! I’ve got my 300m on a OEM rubber strap as I type.
The RubberB for the Explorer II 40mm fits Omega Seamaster 300M perfectly. Great strap, fits the case like a glove.

Looks like most of the Borealis are sold out. Is there any word on when more will be in stock? I keep looking at Isofrane on Amazon, but having a hard time pulling the trigger at the price for my SKX009.

After a hard day of tidying up the garden and fence painting, it’s time finally to relax

Picked up my first vintage Tropic recently. It came on watch I was bidding on on ebay.

Unfortunately, the strap spent much of it's life on an 18mm lug width watch, so it is more like 18.5mm instead of 19mm now...
