Well, that title is clickbait isn’t it!!

Ok, I’ll play along. You can keep them new fangled fancy rubbers. I prefer the old fashioned ribbed for everyone’s pleasure kind. 748DDB8D-B8D6-4BFD-81DD-087F34BC38B3.jpeg 711E490C-8664-4BD4-9002-C962BD0164FF.jpeg F4E76E8C-16B3-4FE3-A6AB-2B3C26C14941.jpeg

Rubber B for Rolex is top dog and superlative quality.

As far as Omega ....If you don’t want to overpay for the OEM (I recommend you do if you can), then I really like Zealande !! I’ve got my 300m on a OEM rubber strap as I type.

I always see the Horus bands around - don’t see much about them in regards to Omega though.

Not exactly in the same class as the OP, but I finally just took a shot of it:

    WAK2180.jpg

TAG WAK2180 in the local big box store.

    CAJ2180.jpg

A TAG CAJ2180 in similar finish and OEM rubber deployant.

Well, yes- it would work very well, but why on earth would I want to dethrone an original bracelet?!?!

I wear rubber straps mostly for actual diving. And for that I have found nothing better than the classic Isofrane.

The Borealis copy of the Isofrane is also quite good in quality, almost as good, for a fraction of the price.

I tried the Bonetto rubber nato. Great quality rubber, but the design is based on springbars for all the hardware, and I had a few failures with those.

This Helson above is the actual watch I wear for diving these days. My wife wears a Seiko SRP turtle also on Isofrane.

I have a friend who has both an Isofrane and the Borealis and he prefers the Borealis. And my Helson (also above) is a tank. Some of these micro brands do some good stuff!

That, and Tropic's own 20mm has a nasty sliced-off lug end. Looks terrible on watches with larger lug gaps. They fixed it for the 22mm model but there hasn't been any communication from them about when the 20mm will be fixed.

FWIW, these Tropics will bend a bit if you use curved spring bars - sort of finds a middle ground between straight and curved ends

I modified a US Tropic so it would work in my Sub which has no clearance for a strait ended strap
