About the same chance your shoes and socks were made by a 8 year old....

In my case 0.

But I get your point.

I am sure she wouldnt mind moiderin' a son-in law either....::stirthepot::馃榾

Man! This is our weirdest thread yet!

I'm gonna go turn all my watch bands over now.... Or maybe just the top half.

I've bought 2 hornback croc straps from Vietnam and both were excellent. Oddly, one was form North not South Vietnam. Only have one left. Honey color on 1970 Bulova w/Valjoux 7733 (unfortunately/fortunately?? that's headed for service - looks great though!).

I ordered a dry run of two(black and brown-red) for my 168.010 to determine the turn-around time and quality.
FANTASTIC quality and execution. Stitching and finish both superb. Turn around quick.
This is the brown-red with specified small round scales and at 19mm/16mm stainless buckle, XL size.

Why not the whole watch? Some people are so scared of scratches on the crystal it might be a good idea for them... I have seen the post about protective film... 馃槈

Right you are!

That's why my PP is still in the window of the AD. Not one scratch in over 1 year...馃槈

The links no longer work to this eBay seller, anyone have a lead to this seller and where these can be purchased?

A friend bought an expensive and very realistic airsoft pistol for use as a motion picture prop. His Asian wife, whom we've come to call the Dragon Lady , in the midst of berating her hubby over some minor matter suddenly snatched up the airsoft gun and fired it directly at his heart. Thing is she had no idea that it was not a real gun till after she pulled the trigger.

going to give it a try, fingers crossed

I ordered one this morning, after receiving a message from the seller, answering a couple of questions.

I have seen these straps discussed elsewhere, on TZ-UK I think. I haven't seen this posted yet but believe this is the direct website for one such supplier:

My strap arrived!

Around a month, from enquirery to delivery. Not bad, at all, for a custom made strap IMO.

Maybe, a shade darker than I would have liked, but more than acceptable, especially considering the cost - $32 - delivered.

Not the best of pics, I'm afraid, and not on my Omega, but such is life.

All in all, not perfect, but excellent value.

Edit to say, Ostrich leg skin, and generic buckle fitted, until, hopefully, I can source a period correct one.
