I asked for them, round, 2mm and was rewarded with same.

Also high quality and flexible calf lining, not stiff like cardboard.

The seller returned emails to clarify my order(for him) and also sent pictures wanting me to confirm he got things right prior to shipping.

He does custom orders, and that's what I did. there were no additional charges for this. I thought it would be simpler to outline how and what I wanted, and ask for a price quote, which he did within 24hrs.

The price for my two came to $70 total.

Yes, I know, but I LIKE the buckle at the bottom👍

Me too. I have all my straps like that. And I always get comments from fellow watchnerds - "you have put it on wrong". No I have not.

It is much easier to have control of the "loose end" of the strap when it is pointing inwards - not hooking on to things - and it is easier to handle when putting it on and taking it off.

Let us reform the watch world! This is the right way.

And the Mesopotamians thought the guys who argued for the earth being round were weird... 😁

You know, if you fit the strap upside down, with the lining upwards, it might last longer as the lining will be less exposed to sweat from your skin

Why not the whole watch? Some people are so scared of scratches on the crystal it might be a good idea for them... I have seen the post about protective film... 😉

If you look at advertisements for the first wristwatches, the buckle is always at the bottom. Why the change? Got me! I have one speculation: when the buckle is on the top, any symbols or writing on the buckle (like an Omega!) is right-side up with respect to the dial.

But you're not wrong, you're just following an older standard. 😀

My nicest steel Connie came with this bracelet. Sellers pics.

This was in the auction.

And this picture he sent me on request.

Easiest decision ever. To buy it - and to loose the bracelet.

That bracelet matches the Stocker and Yale 490 or 590. 😀

What are the chances you are buying leather off the backs of wild caught and critically endangerared Siamese crocs?

Pretty low, since they're farming these things like crazy for food and skins. There's a link on the previous page.

Ok.

I'm married to a Vietnamese and going by my mother-in-law's attitude, I'd say they have few problems moiderin' a croc for a cheap buck. 😀

About the same chance your shoes and socks were made by a 8 year old....
