My collection... Yes I like gold. P.s. one gold watch is on its way to a forum member, but I have another golden replacement incoming.
I also missed the like you left on my post, all makes sense now. I miss a lot it seems, specially today!
That Omega is awesome! I don't think I've seen a gold watch with a brushed finish before. It almost looks brass.
Shush about gold you people. Those of us raking it up while others gut their bank accounts on steel sport watches appreciate that it is overlooked and underpriced, and would not care for any more attention to be directed this way.
@dsio that Seamaster Deluxe Stepped arrowhead dial with the date on the six... Care to trade it for my mother-in-law? Before you say no... Yes, she doesn't have a very pleasant character, but the woman can cook!
This is by far my favourite golden watch these days. The solid gold dial with sunburst effect and the golden faceted trim makes the goldie feel complete. Looks differently in every light. View attachment 207796
I think at least one gold watch is good to have in a collection. Granted this one never gets worn; it does not work with shorts and a t-shirt. Some day I will need to dress up so I can wear this one.
