I continue to be dismayed at these sorts of sales. With all the information out there, it’s honestly shocking when watches like this get offered and sold without someone stopping it.

I’m also dismayed, but not surprised. Even the largest auction houses are lazy when it comes to verification and authentication of vintage watches.

You would think with buyer’s fees approaching 30% they would take more care, but it’s probably cheaper for them to deal with egregious mistakes individually and quietly.

quite a shopping spree- 4160 for the franken, 5460 for a Dirty Dozen that he posted on Military thread, and 3380 on the latest.

I might feel sorry were it not that he is trying to dupe another noob with his Chrono listing for the franken (he was clearly told it was franken)
