I’m quite surprised to see the level of ‘patina’ he was willing to accept, also quite a few ‘incorrect’ crowns, bracelets etc

A couple of things I noticed after my first quick look through the catalogue, but I think lot 32 might might be a bit of a Frankenstein? Mid to late 40s movement and dial in a early 50s ref.2657/2494 case that usually had a cal. 351/ 354 / 352Rg.

There are also two ref.2366 & 2367 that have pitted cases and worn looking movements but suspiciously nice dials.

I noted a lot of polishing seems like most watches were prepped for a non collector audience.

Yes. For people who read and believe the flowery bullshit descriptions and don't know what they're looking at regarding the actual watch.

A few redials in there too
Lot 15 was one that stood out to me as potentially re-dialed on a quick look through; were there others that were especially apparent?

Lot 19 is a 2367 chronometre with wrongly restored dial.

Lot 27 is described as ref 2367 (the case is) but the movement is a subseconds type as found on 2364 and 2366.
The dial is an aftermarket replacement
It is a put together piece and I advise to avoid

I'd say mixed, I mean the Franken Connie and some of the other shabby ones will probably come in within estimates, but there are a lot of gold pieces, some on gold bracelets, that are wildly under estimated.

Lot 1 - hands don't look right

Lot 27 as mentioned - rep dial - wrong movement

Lot 39 Not even sure. Never seen that dial with a gold plated case. Gold plated crown and off color bracelet

The problem is that it’s difficult to rely on the descriptions for any of them given the many problematic listings.
