Gold Deville story and questions

Hi everyone, my first post!!!

I have a gold plated Deville, which i believe to be a 135.020. It belonged to a friend of my fathers in Hong Kong. The watch hadnt worked in decades. For a cheaper priced repair, I took it to Bangkok. I have included an image of the service and repair description, mostly in Thai. Due to the travel restrictions, I am still here and the watch has been sitting in a drawer. I got it out a few days ago. Admittedly i didnt pay much attention to it, when picking up from repair. Now, after giving it a wind etc. I have a few questions. I hope forum members might be able to help with.

The watch winding feels very tight. Tighter than the few other seamasters ive wound. And only allows for 14 winds max. Is this anything to worry about or unsual?

How long should this watch run for after full wind?

I understand this movement to be manual. But when the watch is fully stopped. When give it a mild shake, it starts ticking. Whats going on?

Also any comments or 20 cents on anything you may notice re the crown etc. Even narky comments hahaha Thanks to anyone who helps. Ps I gave myself an uppercut for not getting a decent inside caseback image

After a service a watch may take a while to wear in the new o-ring in the crown and be a bit stiff to wind at first. New watches have the same thing.
Wind it until it stops, give it a bit and wind a bit more.

Don’t shake your watch. Roll it around is much better and does the same ( this advice is for automatics yours should not need to be shaken at all )

At least you have a rotor

Nothing like a good watch shake 😁😁 bringing back memories of old matey who’s watch wouldn’t start So he sent this video to his watchmaker asking why shaking his watch didn’t keep it going

Aah i see. Chances are itll loosen up. Yes your correct. It was very mild. More like a quick forward and back movment. Which I've had a lot of practice at. And unlike the old warning, it didnt make me go blind. . When i replicated the natural wrist movement or the movement of a watch winder. The watch didnt start ticking. Nevertheless im confused as too how a manual watch, which has run out of power. Starts ticking again with some movement.

Even with potentially fresh seals, I wonder if the wrong mainspring has been fitted, which is why is isn’t winding properly?

Maybe. It seems to run well and accurate apart from what i felt, was tight winding. And after full winding runs for over 24 hours. I dont think the company who repaired it are anything special. But i dont feel they would make that type of mistake. Although anything is possible.

I've previously had a watch wind very stiff and only for around 15 winds after service. I asked the watch maker to look at it and he said the mainspring was slightly the wrong size. Fitted another and it runs like a beauty now.

Thanks. Got you now.. How many times do you think this watch should normally wind? Its several days past the warranty but the shop said i can bring it in, if I feel somerthing isnt correct. I dont want to lool like, the boy who cried wolf. And want to be prepared, so they dont verbal me, if something isnt right.

I expect a watch to wind 40-60 times.

That's not full rotations, but winds with my thumb and finger (I expect each 'wind' isn't a full rotation)

Ok got you again. Same same. When referring to a wind. I am also not completing full rotations. Thanks Davidt
