Gold Bezel on Planet Ocean diver rotates clockwise

I purchased a Seamaster Planet Ocean from an AD less than a year ago. It has a ceramic case and sedna gold bezel. I have recently found that the diving bezel rotates clockwise quite easily. I don't think that was the case when I first bought it, but I don't really remember.

Anyway, is this known to happen with gold bezels? I was thinking maybe the gold wears down over time as you rotate the bezel (in the proper direction) obsessively/compulsively.

Do you think that I should go back to the AD to get this looked at?

Thanks for reading and for any input.

It shouldn't rotate CW, that's a safety issue if it was used for diving. It's under warranty, take it back. I don't think it being gold is the issue here unless you are constantly twirling and rotating it as a nervous reaction.

I would say that whenever I wear it (2-3 times a week) I might give it like 10-20 rotations. Too much? 👎

Possibly...say 40 rotations per week x 50 weeks is about 2,000, it might cause enough wear to give you problems. Take it in and plead ignorance.
