@padders : Yep! I thought I should post some kind of update. So I did. But it was interrogative not affirmative! It is very rare for me to do something impulsively. Bad luck. Everybody is lecturing me.. Last time I ask a question.
Don’t sweat it you meant no harm. People react strongly to words so just phrase things where it’s difficult to critique but bury the critique parts in nice words if you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit. Always leave them guessing and you will be fine. there is a learning curve to many things, you made an error, big deal I’ll probably make 20 tomorrow

Yeah - I've seen Long Island's as well. I really liked the 30ATM model with the fancy blue dial that they had. In the end, I am more of a vintage person at heart, so none of the new ones spoke to me as much as the vintage Squale-cased divers.
That’s my issue too, the new 30 series have everything going for them, nice case shape, size is respectable at under 40mm, lovely dial/bezel’s. I actually really like their entire line- about as true to the original intent as their vintage pieces. But I have come realize that if there is a vintage alternative to a modern watch, I’m always going to want the vintage.

I hear what you guys are saying but I like both sides of that coin. The modern “revivals” take away the tomfoolery factor that plagues the vintage watch world but certainly true vintage has a character that can’t be duplicated.

Please don't feel that way. Your contributions here are much appreciated, and there never was a forum where folks are so willing to help others to learn! Only, the F-word is considered very strong language in watchworld is all, and the guys are just protecting all of us from any misunderstandings. 👍

Sorry, but there must be some mistake... Is "fake" a strong language ? I may have used it unfairly and inappropriately I never been told it was strong language. I am not known as a person using strong language... I suppose there has been some kind of misunderstood here ! But thank you for your support. I think it is time to close this silly thread I created !....

Fake is strong language in your context in this thread. " I suspect, they manufacture fakes on a large scale...." Without any proof that is a very strong accusation. Not everything, you can't explain or do not like, is Fake. Nor is any inconvenient News " Fake News " , as the Orange One coined it.... Better be used sparsely and with real Proof.

Oh dear ! I didn't know that a suspicion was an accusation ! For me I suspect = I wonder. That is all. " I wonder " is an interrogation.... I added " right or wrong ?" because I DIDN'T know. I was asking, so it was not affirmative. No idea why some here take/took it as an affirmation ! I am very sorry for the mismatch, I just feel all this unfair and distresssing. I don't wish to argue anymore. Usually I never post anything anywhere, I don't comment anything because it is a waste of time and nobody is really interested in others point of view. Actually people like the miror effect of themselves or bully others. I like neither. But I was interested in watches, became a member here, asked one or two things of no interest , learned a lot, and - because I was short in time two days ago, because I had to hurry to a tiling cession of my living-room ( yes, I, a lady , is currently tiling a 7×7 meters square room), because I posted perhaps an awkward question, I am lectured as a poor girl for something I completely deny. Actually I think I am getting upset and I'better do as the very kind @Walrus said: ignore all this.
