Yes. Omega seem to be offloading the GM now and I am hoping to grab a bargain. Shame it is so heavy. It might be my upper limit of tolerance for heavy watch.

Can any Globemaster owners out there tell me how heavy their watch adjusted is in grams and their corresponding wrist size? I am 6 3/4 inches wrist and need to know how heavy the Globemaster is when adjusted to my size before I pull the trigger. Thanks

its not heavy and Omega is not offloading it
its actually pretty light for a metal strap watch
ultimately if you want a 316L metal strap it has a certain weight as is metal

there is only one model in 1 sale which was price matched by another jeweller.

I don't actually know
I will weigh it when I get home
I recommend you try it on
Try a PO on before with metal strap and then the GM will weigh nothing 😀

It will be great if you can give me a ball park figure of an adjusted bracelet GM in grams. I know about PO however, I am coming at this GM from Rolex angle as opposed to a Omega collector. My watch collection is nearly entirely Rolex Datejust 41mm and that's what I compare GM to in terms of comparison of style. All my Datejust gold bezel are 147g roughly and the ceramic Date sub is approx 149g. So you can see that anything over 150 is heavy for me....im sure omega owners will think differently!!

Why not just wear the GM with a leather strap?

That'll negate a lot of the weight and you'll still enjoy the GM and it's timeless nature.

Agree. I was going to get it with metal bracelet and change into leather strap. That would be more economical as bracelet is only a fraction more. Only downside is that I was hoping GM will be my holiday watch....beach etc! Just need to know cimfort factor in terms of weight. I am making the assumption the GM is slighly lighter than an omega ceramic SMP at 160g on my wrist (which i used to own) and heavier than the ceramic Date sub at 149g. My prediction is GM on me will be approx 151 to 155g. Thats why im hoping to get better info from you guys.

It’s lighter then my explorer ii. I haven’t owned a Daytona with metal strap but I have tried one on. The Daytona is much heavier of course. I would say it’s quite similar to a DJ 41 but let me weigh it

Hi. I’d like to pick one up too. Do you know what kind of discounts are available? Just trying to get a feel of what is reasonable to expect from say an AD.

Incorrect
Only one model in the range is on sale with two jewellers, and only one has a few display models in stock the other is out of stock

Ok, are you 17.5cm wrist?
I lost my measuring tape. I have a very small wrist. I needed to take two links out of the bracelet and I wear it quite loose.
I think Omega is doing what Rolex does now and is not including excess links in the factory supplied braceket.

I hope to eventually buy a full rose or yellow gold Globemaster after I get an Omega meteorite, it just seems like the logical next step after buying a flashy, modern speedy that I also get a classic and timeless piece for far more reserved occasions.

Or I may just stick to one watch. The more time I spend on these forums the more I want to just buy up a whole collection of Omega watches!

Full rose gold would be nice, but going down that route I'd be choosing the new Day\Date.

What is the weight of your GM in grams after the watch bracelet is adjusted to your wrist. I have the same wrist size and would like to know how heavy it would be on my wrist. Thnx
160 grams precisely.

Thanks for that, so essentially it is the same weight as Omega Seamaster ceramic pro.
