The only real way to know is to go and try them on.In 2015, I went into the shop fully convinced that I would be walking out with a PO. Hated it on the wrist. Tried on the 300m, loved it instantly, and still do.
There is no substitute for trying them on to really know which one you want.

Thanks. Totally agree, and have thankfully had the opportunity to try each on wrist, albeit some a few years back as due to budget and size preference (ie 42 PO) I am including older models. All work wrist wise and now just need to decide 1 (maybe 2) from 4

I'd echo lillatroll, and try and see them all (at once) in person. I was almost certain I was going to purchase a white dial 300m until I held it next to the black dial. I thought both were beatiful and would have had a hard time choosing without having one in either hand.

If it was only one, I still think the 300 master coaxial would be my first choice.
If two, then the Globe master and the seamaster 300 professional. The globe master is a bit more on he dressier side of the spectrum while the 300 pro is more sporty, so a lot of bases covered. The 300 co axial is somewhere in the middle, especially now that the newer one it is a bit thinner.

I'd vote 300. Just fills the casual/office/everyday needs so well and seems more flexible.

Massive bias here, as you can see in my avatar that I own said Planet Ocean. And while it's fat and definitely heavy, I still believe it is one of the most versatile watches I own. On the bracelet, on the excellent Omega rubber strap, leather straps, nato straps, canvas straps, ... it just seems to be fine on almost anything. It's never felt out of place to me.

I would be keen to compare it for a longer period of time to the SMP 300m, as this seems to be a bit lighter and flatter. That said, I think in my case the SMP would lose quickly in that fight.

I will be between the 300m and the PO for me. Own both (in different colors). I will be an endless debate the pros and cons of each one, BUT there is a con on the PO that decide me to keep the 300m and will sell the PO, THE THICKNES. 16mm for a 42MM watch is TOO much.

Like others, I am also bias as I am currently wearing the 300 heritage (top right) on the wrist now. I have been a big fan of the bracelet that comes with it compared to the standard 300. I would personally go with that or the PO

Depends on your style and wrist size.

the Seamaster would be my last choice.

I love the 300mc and the Globemaster. The simple PO’s are also great but can be a little large wearing.

As others have said, it really depends on the size of your wrist and your overall style. I just picked up the new Seamaster 300 as my daily wearer so my opinion is just a little biased. 😀

With that said, here are a few things to consider.

1. Unless you like heavy watches and have a large wrist, you probably would not like it for a daily wearer. Only way it would work for me is in titanium.

2. I had the older version of the Seamaster Pro diver, and found it a little blingy (lots of reflective surfaces) and the bracelet is a little too dressy for a sports watch IMO. But, if your office environment is on the dressier side and you want a little flash, it's a great option.

3. The Globemaster is the dressiest of the bunch, so I'd really only recommend it if you wear a suit at work.

4. The Seamaster 300 is the most casual of all three with minimal bling, which is why I picked it. It does not have a date, so if that is something you really look at on a regular basis, you might miss it. It does have a quick-set hour hand, though (jumps in 1 hour increments), which is useful for traveling between time zones.

Movements in all are comparable (although I don't think the PO is Master chronometer certified, but that isn't really a big deal). Whatever you decide, let us know!

300m all the way for me. PO is too much of a lump, 300 and globemaster are too retro for my taste.

I’ve had the 300m for 2 years and don’t wear anything else anymore… it’s too good.

42mm sits perfectly on my wrist, 43.5mm of the PO is smidge large.

I would vote for the Seamaster 300m. It's the most versatile watch of them. I have the Seamaster 300 SMP (great watch, the non-tapering bracelet can annoy sometimes) and a Globemaster (actually totally underrated) as well and I love them too. In the end: whatever decision you make, you won't be wrong.

If I was choosing I wouldn't get the Globemaster (I don't like dress watches), or the heritage (no date complication). I would be going for the PO or the diver 300 - both can be worn in a casual or formal situation. Both have the date and rotating bezels (which I actually use more often than you would think). As others have said, no wrong answers really.

I think it's funny when people refer to the Globemaster as a dress watch. I wear my GM with shorts and a tshirt all the time and it never felt out of place. For work, the most 'dressed up' I get is a polo shirt and jeans.

Compare the GM to a true dress watch (like a tresor)... the brushed case, the c-shape case, and the 12mm thickness take it out of the "dress" category. Classical design does not mean formal.

The GM was a winner for me because the combination of classic design elements and modern technology. First METAS watch is a cool piece of history too. It's a great one watch collection, imo.

I hate the helium escape valve, so the bottom two are out for me. I'd buy the Globemaster unless you're the kind of person who uses the dive bezel a lot.

Globemaster blue dial hands down. Really nice watch.
