I found this in my in-laws garage. Looks like a bad fake to me but thought I'd run it by the experts on the forum. Thoughts?

When I used to play bars back in my teens in rock bands I knew a girl named "Steel Back".

And she did.

Looks legit -- if you're playing "The Shamrock" in Lima, Ohio.

Got a hammer and a couple minutes? Put it out of its misery.

I'd almost be willing to waste the cost of a bullet to stick it up at 100 yards and shoot it from the bench rest at the club range.

Hammer's cheaper though.

This is the way. I’d add some tannerite to the mix as well.

Someone once described quantum physics as loading watches into guns, Shoot the watches at each other. Hope they hit each other. Then figure out how watches work by examining the directions the parts went.

I used to shoot cap and ball. I wonder how many grains it would take to send the watch 100 yards?

Well, one would need to contrive some sort of wadding to wrap the watch in so as to effect a seal of the bore. Then I reckon a charge of about 70 grains of FFg black powder and elevating the bore to 31 degrees would loft that watch at least 100 yards, even with its hopelessly wretched ballistic coefficient, which would only deteriorate as it shed weight with its loosened bits.
