1 of them will be worth crazy money. 2 will do fine. 1 ok and 1 no one will care about.

Red = crazy money
Blue and Panda = will do fine
1 ok = ?
1 no one will care about = ?

Which one do you think will be the most valuable? I'm not a fan of the yellow or green, the others are beautiful.

The Black and gold 2tone will do ok...

the green and gold 2tone has not exactly been well received. Some people like it, but it’s not a standout and has a limited appeal.

The Panda is the only dial people really care about. All beautiful Watches nonetheless

Funnily enough, so far only the Panda seems to be shooting up in value and I struggle to find one at a decent (read: close to RRP) price. I did recently score the Rising Sun (Red). Looking forward to taking delivery of it.

In my mind, the Red and Green are the two most interesting ones as these are not obviously based upon other, pre-existing limited editions. Based upon personal taste, I went with the Red.

Omega has not made a lot of panda dialled watches over the years even though they are an attractive itteration, especially with silvery dial and black subdials, so they are always a winner. Reverse panda dials are rarer still and are usually desirable. Rising Sun version is certainly unique but who knows what will happen long term. As always, buy what you like.

OK, stop now. It does happen, to me and I have provided clear evidence of it. Whether or not it will happen to anyone else I cannot comment on. Each time you state this it calls into question my honesty which I strongly object to.

You're a liar.

Edit - sorry there is another possibility. You may be a moron.

i am curious as to know which is behind every one of these statements.

I bet on the panda or the red to go search crazy money
The two that will do fine could be the blue or the red, the green as a challenger
The green looks like the ok
And the yellow might be the one no one cares for

my personal favorite 3 are the panda, the green and the red (in this order)

Well, there are two people on this forum who have had this happen to them, and I have personally had at least 3 other people contact me asking if a regular case back can be fitted to these watches, again because of this problem. It might not be happening to you, but calling others liars and morons is a bit much...

Just out of curiosity do these have the newer “niad” auto centering casebacks or the old one?

if they have the newer one, did Omega roll that out on the standard PRO?

These are just regular threaded on case backs.

The "new" Speedmasters also have threaded on case backs.

Why this behaviour, @bigsom? You normally seem like a decent chap.

You're right. My apologies @Longbow for my rudeness.
All good. Let’s get back to enjoying these fascinating Omegas, whatever our differing experiences may be.

I'm surprised the blue dial doesn't get more love.

Blue is unusual and generally well received ( judging by the Gemini IV.) It has the reverse Panda, a splash of red the beautiful (in my mind) applied indexes. It seems to me to have more longevity.

They are all nice. The green, while unusual, seems more the flavor of the moment, which has already faded. The rising sun has the white dial appeal of the mitsukoshi and snoopy 2, but is more monotone to me. (I also wonder how much the hodinkee and fratellowatches influenced the red and white popularity). Pandas are always appealing and a safe bet. But is the safe bet going to be outrun the others in the long run?

If I had the blue and in 10 years it was half the value of the panda (or others), i think I would still be happier because it is really attractive.

Thank you.
Sorry, I did not do my research.
I will try to close this thread and join the other one.
Nice branding 👍
That’s BS in my opinion 😉. No idea how tight they wear their watch. But in my case I never had any issues.
My FOIS and Tokyo 2020 leave about the same mark. And the classic Professional just minor signs of a mark on my wrist. So this is an issue with any watch which dies not have a flat back.

I love my rising sun in combination with the Apollo 11 50th Anniversary bracelet.

Can highly recommend it. There are not many Speedys with a white dial, and none with a red bezel. For me a perfect combination.

Well, in spite of my epistle about the blue, damn, that is a beautiful watch! 😲

I hope yours goes way up in value but not so high that you are tempted to ever sell it.
