·Up for sale is a very nice 1960s Girard Perregaux Chronometer HF (High Frequency) with the famous 32A movement. Please see below for details, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Dial: Original, non-refinished dial is in very nice condition with no discoloration or marks as far as I can see. Dial features unique and attractive brushing that emanates from the 6 marker. Markers and hands have black inserts (no lume) despite the “T” below the 6 marker; this is consistent with others of this dial variant.
Case: Original 34.5mm stainless steel case is in very nice condition and appears to be unpolished with sharp edges and original brushing present on the bezel and sides of the case.
Crown: Original signed crown.
Crystal: Crystal is free of scratches. Unclear if original or not given these were not signed.
Movement: The original, famous chronometer rated 32A movement runs and sets well, but I suspect it could use a service as it is a little difficult to wind and I have no service history.
Strap/buckle: Comes on the brown DeBeer leather strap and steel buckle pictured.
Price is $800 (reduced from $1000). I'll cover insured US shipping, and international shipping is available but options are to be discussed with the buyer.
