·Up for sale or trade is a 1960s Omega Seamaster pre-DeVille (early DeVille, prior to the text being present on the dial). The dial is very attractive with onyx inlaid markers and hands. The case unfortunately has extensive rust on the left-hand side. Fortunately it's not too noticeable when wearing. The movement has not been serviced but is currently running well.
Additional details are below, and feel free to reach out with any questions.
Dial: Original, non-refinished, silver dial is in nice condition and features attractive onyx inlaid markers and hands. The dial has some light specks on the right-hand side of the dial that aren't very noticeable in most lighting. Markers and hands are in nice condition. "Swiss Made" is present below the six marker as expected.
Case: Original 34mm case has significant rust on the left-hand side. Otherwise, the case is in very nice condition and appears to be unpolished or close to it. Hippocampus logo on the case back is in nice condition. Unfortunately I don't know the reference number as it's a unishell case and I haven't had my watchmaker open it. My guess would be a 165.020 reference but that's just a guess.
Crown: Original signed crown is in nice condition.
Crystal: Original signed crystal (Omega logo etched in center) is clear however has some light scratches around the edge that aren't very noticeable and will buff out.
Movement: Movement runs, winds, and sets well but service history is unknown so a service is recommended prior to regular use. Given I haven't opened the case, I don't know the movement caliber. I would guess a caliber 550.
Strap: Comes on the black leather strap w/ steel buckle pictured.
Price is $600 (reduced from $700). Open to trades for non-radium 50s or early 60s Seamasters, Constellations, Geneves, Conquests, and Flagships (see my WTB/WTT here). I'll cover insured US shipping, international shipping is available but to be discussed with buyer. PayPal preferred for payment. OF seller reviews are here. Returns are accepted if watch is grossly misrepresented. Watch is located in Seattle, WA, USA.
