A quite well known dealer is using my photograph from this very thread in his eBay listing with a quite strange description :

Obviously I have never been asked if my photograph can be used for advertising the watch he's selling and all 4 watches pictured are mine...

I love his style... "CLICK on our images for best and [Full Screen] view" 👎

Sent him a message through eBay, kindly asking him to remove my photograph from his description, let's see how professional this guy is...

The ‘Gentleman’ concerned, is an Ex Forum Member

The emphasis being on the word…EX

I seem to remember, even then,… he had a very loose interpretation, of…probity, & transparency

Post his name so we will be forewarned.

Its in the screenshot -> 'Fullywound'. 'Fullydouche' more like it, from the numerous things that I have read several times here.

I’m sorry about @kov ’s photo being used without permission, but I quite enjoyed reading the old threads.

Have you thought about sending an invoice to 'Fully Wound' requesting payment of $1000.00 for the use of a copyrighted photograph without permission?

Why not add his username to the title so would be customers can see this.

"quite well known" is a bit of a stretch. But definitely well known on OF.

One day later, no reply to my messages on EBay nor on Instagram and my photograph still in his description.

Why not add his username to the title so would be customers can see this.

Thought I’d give him a chance to react first but yep now it’s time to name and shame.

As a professional photographer, since this person is scamming in addition to stealing your work, I would get screenshots, try to find contact information, register your copyright (it’s cheap) and send an invoice. Then you also file a DMCA request to have it taken down. If you have their contact information or know their name and copyright registered you can also file a decently sizable lawsuit. If someone is being egregious I go past the DMCA to invoice and lawsuit.
