Frustrating experience with Teslaus

Chris (Teslaus) contacted me about the Railmaster 1957 60th Anniversary watch I have listed for sale on 5/21/20. He has feedback buying firearms on the HK forums (username Ctravers) and I decided to go forward with the deal. He made a down payment shortly thereafter and explained that he really wanted the watch, but was waiting for a bonus check to be deposited in his account. I agreed to wait a week. A week later, Chris tells me the bonus check was much smaller than he anticipated and asked me to wait another two weeks. I hesitantly agreed, and during these two weeks, two offers for the watch came in. I asked Chris if he was still 100% certain he would buy the watch each time. He assured me he was. Fast forward to today, Chris says he can't buy and wants his down payment refunded (which I did). Unfortunately, the other buyers are no longer interested.
