·If you are over near the Chesapeake. It's funny to me that you really only hear delmarva used if you are on the east side of the route 50 bridge. If you are to the west, then it is "the DC area"

··This Space for RentSpringfield is right outside the Beltway. By comparison, I have to go to the Woodlawn area of Maryland tomorrow, which is just barely outside the Baltimore Beltway. And to me, it is definitely still Baltimore 😎
Of course I really don't think of/ refer to myself as being from DC, as I live just inside the beltway in NoVa. Heck, I was even born in DC, and I don't consider myself from DC.
