Still together after all these years. 39 years ago this month this bundle of joy came into my life.

Needs paint again, but still a fυcking blast. Turn up the volume and smell the hydrocarbons.

Woot! Getting closer!
Would love to have it by the end of the month but not holding my breath. The shipping (and roll out in general) has been a total disaster on these.

This is the best
Agreed lol. She got her first ride in the Type 3 earlier this week. First time riding forward facing in any car!
She just turned 2, so now she’s allowed to forward face. I had this car seat already for the 4 year old.

We just went around the block a few times. She didn’t want to get out lol.

The day after buying the green 356B. I was living in Monterey. GiGi (Green Goddess) immediately made friends in the parking lot. She said, I think I’ll like this California thing!

It’s Friday! My dad and I bought a ‘65 MGB in ‘75. It was a rust bucket, $300 driven to our house. Dad and I worked on it for two years, and I drove it once I got my license at 16. It was my HS “daily driver.” To say it was restored is absurd, but then again standards were different then. Lots of hammered sheet metal, fiberglass, bondo, you know, the whole amateur 15-yr old’s catastrophe.

The hair! 1975 was an ugly year. Note the repro Talbot mirrors and the antenna! I must have been listening for alien communications in space. For purists, the car was a ‘65 w 5 main bearings. The seats are leather 1969, IIRC.

And another, random shot in NC.

Love the house, never been a fan of that car make.
You don't find many abandoned houses or derelict houses in my country.
Have never been to the states but house hunting for those sort of House's would be a definite draw card for me.

Pulled these beauties off and put the winter tires on. The loss of grip is substantial. Those wide Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires are like glue. Endless grip…

If you can get away with an all season, the all season Pilots are some of the best.
I've driven year round on the AS3 for 4 years and 40,000 miles and I have been quite happy with them.
I don't really need an all season being in Florida, but I bought them for the longer tread life they provide.
For reference, I drive a totally stock VW GTI. So having said that, if the car was modified at all I'd probably be running something else. But again, I can get away with a summer tire year round...

Thanks, I’ll keep it in mind if I ever need more tread life. Right now my mileage is so low I don’t need to compromise. I just got these aftermarket wheels this year to make my life easier switching between summer and winter tires. I was paying every year to remount and balance tires on the same ugly stock wheels. Now I can easily just swap wheels by myself. Was just waiting to burn up the stock summer Dunlops before moving to a larger wheel and tire. Went from 17x8 to 18x9.5.

Well it's Friday somewhere ( it's actually Saturday here).

This arrived today.
