Forstner Flat Link Bracelet on a Seamaster 300

I have just put my Flatlink on my original SM 300. Very pleased with the look and easy to adjust the length with the supplied screw drivers. The sel's were a tight fit , necessitating the spring bars to be very compressed. I managed to get a perfect fit , the expandable links working well on a hot day.
I thoroughly recommend this bracelet, although the fully brushed version might have been more appropriate on this SM300.

I didn't have the same good fortune with the 19mm sels on my 2998.5 , the sel is 0.04 mm too wide. Hopefully I can file them down .
I will let you know if I am successful, otherwise it will be US end links.

Uhhh. Supplied screwdrivers. I think that is new. Sounds like a wise decision from Forstner.

Hey guys, sorry to resurrect this thread but I had a question regarding the bracelet in discussion.

will the first we flatlink fit my 2264.50? I’ve searched quite a bit on google and various forums but I can’t find an answer to my question.

I’m thinking about buying the bracelet just to text it. If it doesn’t fit, I believe the US flatlink HELs will fit the forstner bracelet. Second option is just eating for Forstner to come out with the Seamaster endlinks for this bracelet. I emailed them not that long ago and was told something was in the works.

Hi, I just came across this old thread, but I could do really with a bit of help and advice please.. I just fitted a Pre-21 Forstner Flat Link to my Omega Seamaster 300 165.024 Le Centrale Boites from 1966, never polished. Syed at Forstner said the Pre21 Speedmaster and links will be a perfect fit for my SM300. I've tried using OEM spring bars, and the bars that came with the Flat end links, and they locate correctly, although locating the bars was a bit of a struggle, but they are home and secure, but it's the depth of the significantly thicker end links. They protrude by circa 2-3 millimetres higher than the inside of the lugs?? Should I be using different, perhaps more shallow end links if they're available? If so what are they? Cheers!

Hi, I just came across this old thread; this looks like it fits really well on yours; judging by the slightly thicker side profile of the case, it looks like it's an HF case rather than CB, would I be correct?
Basically, I'm struggling with fitting the Pre-21 Forstner Flat Link to my Le Centrale Boites SM300 from 1966..??

Just one small remark, CB cases were introduced in mid 1967, before all were made by HF.

Here’s my WatchCo on Forstner flatlink, extremely satisfied with the fit as well as quality. Highly recommended.

Oh is that right I thought they were 66 onwards?

It looks great on your Watch Co. Case, but the pre21 end links don't fit my 66 or 67? 165.024 CB in the same way unfortunately..
They protrude by circa 2 mm higher than the lugs?

I'm guessing you also used pre21 end links??

Correct.
Thank you, that potentially explains the disparity. I wonder if a different end link would be a better fit for the CB case??
Anyone have any ideas??
Cheers
