How does everyone think these will look on vintage watches? on 33-34mm watches I think the vintage bonklips with 16mm links are perfect. My fear is that since this bracelet has 18mm links it might have a little too much visual mass on 34mm watches. It's the only thing holding me back at the moment.

I can throw it on my sei tacche once it gets in for a reference.

While reading about the history of Bonklip bracelets, I saw on several forums the mention of a PDF document on the subject, which should be a good reference.
Unfortunately, all links to this document are now out of order.
Maybe some fellow OF member has this document?
I am looking for: THE-BONKLIP_HI-RES-1.pdf

(It was available from these two, now non working, links:

This one has been giving me the fisheye for 3-4 years now, so it must be placated first.

Ah, that’s much better.

High quality reissue, very comfortable on the wrist.

10/10!

Question: it does look a bit like the inner release tab has left an indentation on your wrist...do you feel that?

Just arrived and straight to my Longines WWW. Excited to try it on some vintage chronos!

I decided to give one a try on a vintage-inspired modern Baltic. I really like it. It’s super-light and comfortable.

Curious, how do you get the Bonklip off with no drilled lugs? From what I understand the Bonklips don't have any notches on the ends for spring bar tool removal. Thanks!

Put my original on today- forgot how comfortable these things are

The original ones didn’t, they literally “klipped” onto a fixed spring bar by having an open slot at the end- tube (can’t really call it a link) would snap over it- it was a brilliant bracelet solution for fixed bars.

The modern one does have little slots in the ends for a tool- so it’s like any other bracelet

I dislike to disagree with my compatriate. I have a branded Bonklip on my CK 2390, 11/16", that has a slot and does not appear to be able to be applied to fixed lugs.

So, in my opinion, the answer is, "it depends".

You should have this open slot on the bottom of both endlinks.

Sometimes the slit is really tight- you just pry it apart gently to open the gap- which is why you see so many that have been mangled…”gently” is not in everyone’s vocabulary
