I honestly think the appeal of a reissue for this kind of bracelet is to use it on watches with lugs larger than 16mm (the one I posted above is 18 and they are not easy to find- I have never seen a 20), and the skinny bracelet look is kind of limiting- the Komfit has a nerd appeal, otherwise it would just be a weird looking design by today’s standards. I should look at what the others doing this style bracelet are doing for their dimensions.

The skinny I posted earlier is on a 20mm lug Lemania. That is how they wore them, because as you mentioned, 18mm is not easy to find (and I don't think they made 20) ... and most watches I have seen with these vintage ones (all skinny) are 20mm lugs (but honestly I have not looked long and hard, and will most likely snap up whatever Forstner makes :) ).

Then I stand corrected- I have never seen a 20mm in the wild, they all seem to have been cut down- as was the norm with several other bracelets, they came in one width and you cut the endlinks to fit...hopefully evenly :whistling:

Just curious: when you’re looking at the name, in your mind’s eye, do you see “Bonk-lip” or “Bon-klip”?

This one has been giving me the fisheye for 3-4 years now, so it must be placated first.

The fact that the bracelet itself is 18mm is a big deal. The original one I have is 16mm with 18 endlinks and I paid a bit more than what they are asking.

How does everyone think these will look on vintage watches? on 33-34mm watches I think the vintage bonklips with 16mm links are perfect. My fear is that since this bracelet has 18mm links it might have a little too much visual mass on 34mm watches. It's the only thing holding me back at the moment.
