I wish I could own one of those... at least we were able to get to experience the purchase somewhat through your pictures. I like how you teased us with some of the photos and then just kept providing more and more pictures. The thread that just keeps on giving.
Well, Thank you Forum for all the nice comments, I enjoy it even more than you all do, have a good weekend and l love to keep you on the track. BR Hans PS: Thank you Forum for letting me post the search and over that getting the contact and at least the chance to catch the goldie!
Delighted to read this. Even showed my wife the picture story. Nice to see an enthusiast so excited about a pick up/ Certainly restores the balance when there are a scattering of posts on profiteering elsewhere.
Can somebody tell me anything about the structre behind the box numbering? I do not see any logic behind that ...
My oh My! Truly it is a beauty! Probably better that dating A Playboy Model. Well, if it isn’t IT should be! A work of art to finally see on the person of a very fortunate Owner! Enjoy the moment and the meaning of what it commentates! Truly a life marking event ! Bravo!
The pictogram indicates a Special Package for that model. The number is just an internal Omega number to indicate the specific packaging for that particular model. The #ST2 (Ultraman) number is 1220, the Blue Panda CK 2998 is 0841. Each of these watches has specific size outer cardboard box and internal structure to hold the applicable presentation box and paperwork for the model. In the internal Omega database each of these 'model' numbers will indicate the specific box and paperwork that is included for any particular special edition watch. It's kind of like a roadmap and checklist for the manufacturer and selling agent. It really doesn't mean anything to the customer which is why you see no logic in the number.
