·Hey All. Hopefully someone here can tell me what’s happened, but if not, i’ll be happy just because all seems to be well now. So the story...
I’ve bought three new Omega watches this year and all have run within spec right out of the gate. None have changed at all from day-1.
Five days ago I bought my first Rolex. An Explorer II, new from an AD. The first day I noticed it was one minute slower than where I (thought I had) initially set it. Thinking that maybe I has improperly set it, I reset it and was careful to sync it up with the Atom. time so I could check the accuracy. Crap if it didn’t lose 75 seconds on day-2. I reset it again and it has been running EXACTLY on time ever since. Literally no gain or loss at all the past three days.
So what the heck? Can someone here ‘splain this phenomenon to me?
Thanks in advance for any insight.
Tom.
