I'm leaning towards the Omega moonwatch 9300 or a second hand Ck2998.

Any owners of both that can give some personally pro's and cons?

 

Why not just get a standard true moon watch? The 9300 version is rather large and thick ... I don't own one but owned the Speedmaster '57 with the 9300 movement. Loved it for almost two years and then suddenly, I couldn't tolerate it's proportions anymore and the moon watch 9300 is even larger, I believe. Between the two you mentioned, CK all day for me. At least make sure you try on and understand how large that automatic moon watch actually is.
