More will power needed! - New Purchase

Hi all, I happened to be in London for the first time in quite a while yesterday, and I received an email from the OB I usually purchase from. They had just been sent one of two brand-new Speedster Mark IIs from Switzerland, and they wondered if I wanted to have a look.

I was with my wife, and she knew I wanted to look at the new 38s anyway, so one tube ride later, we were there. Long story short. The 38s were not for me; they just looked a little small, great-looking but not for my wrist. However, I fell in love with the Mark II immediately, and it came home with me to join the collection that started quite a few years ago.

Great experience with the OB at Royal Exchange as usual.

I asked the OB and they said that they had been reserved by 2 buyers from a German OB but were then not sold and instead sent back to HQ, then put away "On a shelf". The OB I use seems to talk to HQ a lot and were told about these watches and they asked for one of them and then I guess emailed people they know who may be interested. I did confirm that they were brand new and never worn and the guarantee is valid for the full period.

Congrats! Sounds like one of those spontaneous purchases that you know is right the moment you see it.

These were discontinued 2-3 years ago, not surprising a few were still rolling around in the Omega pipeline. Wear in good health.
