First Omega (PO vs 300) - Help Please!

Oh, and fair point about the weight of it. I’m not so worried about that to be honest, but only time will tell. The white version of the seamaster would be my pick too, so never know I might end up with that as well at a later date!

I don't have both so it's impossible to make a direct comparison. However, going on some internet figures I see, the SMP300M on rubber weighs about 110 grams, and my PO (cal 8500) is 127 grams. A difference yes, but not dramatic.

I must say I'm sometimes very conscious of the weight of the PO when it's on the bracelet, but that's quickly solved with a strap change.

Thanks mate, that's very helpful. I've priced in an Omega rubber strap that I'll pick up should I feel the weight is an issue. I do love the PO on the bracelet, so will just live with it for a few months as a daily driver before making a decision.
