Thanks for these bracelet reference points. Really awesome. Are there colloquial terms or nick names for the bracelet styles?

As far as I know, there are no specific names for watch-bracelet combinations on the Omega Speedmaster.

However, some types of bracelets have special names, such as Mesh, Beads of Rice (BOR), Milanaise, Flat-Link, Holzer, Oyster-Style, Jubilee, etc ..

(The front runner in terms of nicknames is definitely Seiko. ... 馃槈)

Was it difficult to size it please?
It鈥檚 a screw end tube with a screw on both sides, a little tricky since it takes 2 screwdrivers. Not too bad. I also found that the stock Omega 19mm bars will not work, I used 18mm Seiko bars that fit perfectly.
Also Forstner can provide 19mm bars that fit if you request them.

Hi!

DiD anybody try a 1570/870? Does this fit? It is also a 19mm bracelet. From my point of view, it should work.

Kind regards

It is not perfectly working. The Position of the pin holes do not match exactly

Now we know it 馃槈

I just ordered it for my FOIS after seeing how fantastic it looks in your photos. The website for them says the spring bars are provided with each order. Did you buy it elsewhere or second hand and didn't get them or did they forget to include it? If the latter I may need to email them before they ship it out to me...

I had my FOIS on the Speedy Racing bracelet. I recently bought a deployant and the Speedy Racing rubber strap. I like the integrated look of the rubber strap. I'm thinking of getting a custom made Snoopy strap from Jean Rousseau whenever they open back up also of 19mm taper to 18mm like the Speedy Racing rubber strap. The 19mm lug width is kind of annoying because most of the OEM 19mm straps are 19 tapering to 16mm and I don't like the 16mm taper.

Hey mate, I am exploring the racing's rubber strap and deployant clasp as well! I can't seem to find any photos of it. Mind sharing your set up please? Does it fit well? Thank you!

I don't have any pictures and the FOIS is currently on an US1171 bracelet. If you want to see how it looks, Fratello posted it in the Speedmaster World Cup Group B. It fits well and the rubber looks integrated with the case. There's almost no taper since it's 19mm taper to 18mm.

Thank you! This is really helpful! I found more photos of it on @benjameshodges Instagram page too! And I see you got the one with the yellow 'Speedmaster' text! A nice splash of colour to add some fun to the watch! Beautiful!

Wasn鈥檛 my first choice but that was all the OB had. Once they put it on, it looked alright and added some fun so I went with it.

Currently wearing my FOIS on bracelet 1069 / 524

Awesome review. How's the 1069 compared to the 1125. On the fence which one to order. Are the 524 Endlinks as tight of a fit as the 617?

The 1125/617 bracelet is still available in the Omega boutique. The 1069/524 is only available on the used market. The prices for these are pretty much all over the place.

I think the fit of the 1125/617 is near perfect. Just as is has to be.

The 1069/524 fits quite nice, but the end links are sitting a bit lower between the lugs. But is has a very unique and nice 60ties look.

My personal favorite is the combination of the FOIS with a 1098/540 bracelet.

Is it still available at OBs?

Thank you!
Unfortunately, the bracelet is no longer available in stores, but with a little patience you can find it on the second-hand market.
I like this bracelet design very much and I am happy that the new Moonwatch will probably get such a strap again.

Late follow up post, but my Forstner order did come with spring bars in case anyone was not sure. I just put it on my FOIS for the first time just now as I didn't have my spring bar tool on hand til now. Will get around to adjusting the size later.
