I have this one also, with an NOS Omega clasp. It's a really nice piece for the $ and the seller is A+. Highly recommended.

You can also combine Forstner flat link bracelet with Uncle Seiko deployment + ebay canadian Omega clasp:

Hello fellow Omega enthusiasts. I have had the pleasure to own the FOIS since the summer of 2017, and to this day it remains the undisputed champion of my humble collection. Lately I have been wearing the watch on both the Uncle Seiko as well as the Forstner flat link bracelets, and was wondering if anybody has been able to install the OEM bracelet accompanying the SS 321 “Ed White” on the watch? I’m aware that the OEM end links will not fit the case without modification, but I suppose that this may be mitigated by using one of the above mentioned third party end links?

The FOIS was launched at Baselworld in March 2012. Pedantic, moi?

Take a look at spikedlee's posts... This is exactly what he does. Be uses the uncle seiko endlinks with the 50th anniversary flat link bracelet. He mounts it on his speedy pro... It would be amazing to see the flat link bracelet on a fois.

This sounds very promising. I was not aware that the Apollo 11 50th anniversary bracelet would fit the 19mm end links due to the 1mm difference in lug width, but this is definitely something to investigate further.

Upon further research it unfortunately seems that the last link of the anniversary bracelet measures 20mm in width, and as such the bracelet may not be a good fit for the FOIS case.

The clue is the measure of the "male" OEM link that connects to the aftermarket endlink

Great thread - thanks for all the useful information here.

I just received a Forstner flat-link for my recently acquired FOIS. Great bracelet, very impressed with the quality and the look and feel. I've got a number of bracelets on my watches and this one is a favorite already. The spring links really add to the comfort.

I'd like to note that the adjustment method appears to have changed and it only requires removing the single screw that holds each link to the next. The two screw adjustment is not on my bracelet. The included mini screwdriver made sizing an easy job.

Please post a photo of your watch with the new Forstner.
    That would be great!

Is there an Omega clasp that works with the Forstner 19/16 bracelet?

I have a few spare clasps and a Forstner on the way. My NOS clasps worked fine with the US flat link. I think there are a few here who have tried it.

It's very important: that clasps will fit only US, not Forstner.
I am using Forstner with uncle seiko deployment and Omega clasp. That is possible.

Here are a couple of wrist shots and another where I attempted to show the screw adjustments - only one side has a screw head, you can just see the end of the screws on the links to the right.

For those that are looking for the steel bracelet that is a lot of helpful information. One consideration is that if the end links move a bit because they don't fit exactly correct, you may add wear marks over time. Whichever one fits the most exactly and with the lease rocking is the one I would choose.

Agree. I also sanded the rough edges of my US before installing, following helpful information posted here.

I ended up buying an Omega clasp and not just clasp cover for my Forstner bracelet because of the different locking mechanism. Any suggestions on where I should buy the tools to take out that clasp pin? Would I be able to re-use the clasp pin from the Forstner or do I need to find some kind of replacement? The Omega clasp is from a 1162/173 bracelet.
