Perhaps an odd question for you guys but has anyone tried to fit a different case back onto this model? I wonder if they are the same thread and size as a normal Speedy pro.

Perhaps an odd question for you guys but has anyone tried to fit a different case back onto this model? I wonder if they are the same thread and size as a normal Speedy pro.

I suspect that a Speedmaster Pro case back and plastic crystal will fit this case. The difference is in the straight lug and the crown protectors, makes no sense to change the other case dimensions for the same movement.

From what I understand the plastic crystal is not compatible on the FOIS.
Perhaps Al can explain it.
