First Impressions: Milano Straps Suede on My Speedmaster

Hey everyone, first-time poster here. I recently picked up a light blue suede strap from Milano Straps for my Omega Speedmaster, and I wanted to share some quick thoughts.

The color adds a nice, understated pop to the watch without being over the top. Honestly, I was a bit hesitant at first about suede, but it’s surprisingly durable and really comfortable. It’s been a solid upgrade for daily wear.

The process of buying was smooth too. Milano Straps has great customer service—they helped me pick the right size, and shipping was quick and free. Haven’t had any issues so far, but they offer hassle-free returns, which is reassuring.

I know it’s been a while since anyone’s posted here (last post was back in 2020?), but I’d love to hear from others who might have tried suede straps on their Speedy or have experience with Milano Straps. What are your thoughts?

Not sure why I'm bothering to respond to an AI, but my honest thoughts ... a two-stitch blue suede strap on a Speedmaster? 🤮

Did you join the forum just to plug Milano straps?

What a nice welcoming for my first post…I can see that in certain cases AI would be definitely better…was here to share my thoughts. Have a good one all ☮️

It sure sounds like an advertisement. Why would you register specifically to praise a strap company?

I would understand if you wanted to praise your watch and get some compliments though, because you can't get any in real life. I wear vintage Seikos, so I would know. But then again I don't care much for compliments. However I am sure many people notice a Speedy.

That being said I think the forum should give you the benefit of doubt. The world is a huge place so people shouldn't be banned over 1 or 2 weird posts so long as it's civil and not harmful. I know I am weird too 😂. So don't take it to heart.

This design would be perfect for a GS though, but with a different color. Brown. This blue color.. I am not sure what kind of watch would it match with.

Scrap that... Doing a google search, that's a stock photo from the strap website. It's not your speedy or your hand.

Really stupid to do that on a forum like OF.
Cool down Sherlock’s …believe it or not that is my watch…I can see you have nothing else in life than spending time doing CSI cross investigations…for this I wish you all the best in life☮️😂

Shove off, you won't be missed. And the same for your ugly cheap-looking strap.

I am still thinking if it's an AI or not. Certainly possible.

I am starting to think that the forum will soon need phone verification or so. I doubt captchas would help at all since AIs can probably read them considering they can recognize watches fine.
