Had my mind set on this watch ever since Casino Royale blew my tiny high-school mind, but I finally took the leap into Swiss watch territory this week. Should satisfy my James Bond cosplay needs for now. And yes, I know that's supposed to be a PPK/P99, but those are hard purchases to justify for anyone who's ever fired them 😜

Sorry to burst your bubble, but David Niven wore a Rolex GMT Master in Casino Royale. 😉

Congrats! The 2220.80 is an underrated reference IMO; never seems to get as much attention as its predecessor 2531.80, or as the ceramic models that followed. I love mine.

"For now" is the key term here -- just like 007 himself in Casino Royale, you just might be getting yourself into a very daunting world....

Congrats! The 2220.80 was my first (and forever) Omega! My entire collection revolves around it 😁

If you haven't done the adjustable clasp mod, I highly recommend it - it really improves the overall comfort of wearing!

Excellent choice. Congrats!
I had a 2531.80 but recently sold it.
Now having some seller’s remorse.

My screenname takes exception to this comment. 😉
The .40 caliber P99 is one of my favorite sidearms ever, tho oddly I don't like the SW40 variant. To each their own!
