Never bothers me my speedmaster does not have a date. I just think what was the date yesterday and then its always the day after!
But you got to make sure you stop that malarky at 31... sometimes 30...馃槙 ...and also once a year at 28. If you ever get to 32 you've made a balls of it.馃槦

There is a lot of Moonwatch brainwashing on here. If you feel you must have a date window then don't settle for a watch without. My 3570 Moonwatch stays mostly in the box whereas my 3313 Speedy, Seamasters and even F300s get regular wear since they wind themselves (or don't need it) and tell me the date, these being features introduced on many other classic watches around 50 years ago or more. If you want the look but must have the date get the Moonphase. Or a different watch!

I liked the Speedmaster Racing that I tried on recently. It has the date, plus the 100m water resistance is a bonus.

Everyone has a phone with the date on it now days. I do not think I will buy another watch with a date on it unless I fall in love with the rest of it 馃槈

Everyone also has a phone with the TIME on it these days, too. I still find it useful to have both the time and date on my wrist for quick access.
