·Hi guys,
Been a Long time lurker, and enjoyed the chats alot! So reaching out to the community as I have a problem to solve.
I've been looking for the perfect watch box (ahem... boxes) to house my collection, and I would guess many of us probably are in the same state which is
1) buying both vintage and modern watches
2) many vintage watches don't come in a box of their own, but might have papers, warranty, letters from the owner etc
3) we might also purchase straps (both original and non), spare crystals/crowns and other parts if the vintage parts are worn
4) however we still want to keep the vintage parts that have been replaced close to the watch to organise it well so that we can keep everything together
My original thoughts were to purchase a watch box that can keep watches both flat and with strap rounded (like in the photo) so that spare straps can be placed below, along with a small compartment for crowns, bezels, etc that were replaced, however I cannot find the perfect watch box
So wanted to reach out to the community, how do you currently keep your collections and what is your best way / best practise considering the above points?
