Looks very nice. The patina is nice. I'm curious why you chose the -74? Is it birthyear, or right place/time or ...?

Please it's a rare dial variation, do you need another reason? Way more uncommon then a stupid DON. I'm going to make this dial a thing if it kills me lol. Since I have it in my -76 😉

The latter! Nothing particularly special about the '74 year, I had just been patiently waiting for a nice 70's 145.022 to pop up on the sales forums here at OF and one did two Fridays ago. Luckily I had also just managed to save up the necessary funds for it over a couple months, so it didn't take me long to decide to pull the trigger.

The super pretty and rare stepped dial is just the cherry on top. ::psy:: @Foo2rama

Not stepped but it's the only domed dial with the same speedmaster font as on the stepped 😉

That my fellow OF friend is a beautiful looking watch with character, history and the moonwatch legacy to seal the deal. Well done, I am super excited for you and I hope you wear the watch in good health.

I admire your choice as well. I made mistakes until I found the right pieces. You nailed it!
