Last week I finally took the plunge down into the rabbit hole of vintage Speedmasters with this lovely 145.022-74ST. It probably needs a service at some point (running pretty slow), and there is some dust under the crystal, but I absolutely love it. So, as it is my very first #speedytuesday, I thought I'd share it with you all! I took the first wrist shot during pre-flight in my friend's plane that I went up in for the first time in on Sunday, which is -- funnily enough -- a 1974 Rockwell Commander 112A. How cool is that?

Thanks OF for all of your knowledge and especially to the member who sold me this watch! I think I'll be sticking around here for a little while. :)

Not sure yet... I think I am going to hang on to it for a little while at least. It's running a bit slow; -12 seconds/day, which is certainly on the edge of what I could consider acceptable, but it's consistent. Chronograph works perfectly, second hand resets to 0 most of the time, sometimes it lands a tick to the right or left.

Any recommendations? I'm on the US east coast (Virginia).

Dial looks great, I've recently acquired a 74 as well, I think they're the "bargain" speedmasters as of now... Wear it in good health !
