路Had one of these when I first started driving. 70 1/2 Camaro RS Split Bumper. Mine was not as nice, but same color and vinyl top. Image lifted from the net. Wish I had never sold it. Also wish I had bought that '74 Corvette convertible for $1500 when I had the chance. Youth, wasted on the young.

路Studebaker Avanti. Never owned either an Avanti, or an Avanti II. I don't know whether they were a very good car, or not. I just really like the styling.
But my real world favourite is my hobby car. My 1978 American Motors Concord Sport Lifback (fast back). One of 2,500 built. Had it since new. I have spent a pee-pot on it since 1995. You might think I have a soft spot in my head for orphan cars! You'd probably be correct.
ALSO with Avantis don't get a Avanti two they were produced after Studebaker went bankrupt I saw the first Studebaker Avanti on the road about a month ago get one of the 62s or 63s if you want one the twos were slightly made worse and into the 80s I will show pictures of each to compare
The Avanti was so well liked that the remains of Studebaker(Avanti Corp) created the Avanti ii one at top is a Studebaker from 62 next one is the 80s Avanti next one is a 76 Avanti ii next is a 63 Studebaker last is the front of the 76 link to Avanti's website though I kinda hate the new ones http://www.avantimotors.com/

Actually, I do own an Avanti! Our son buys me die cast models of Nash, Hudson, and AMC cars. Knowing how I like the Studebaker Avanti, when he found this one about ten years ago, he couldn't resist it! Today is the first time it has been out of the box in all those years. But, today, I figured, why not! This one is about 1/18 scale. The doors open, as well.
I have a book called Cars Than Never Were. It has a chapter on Studebaker which shows full sized "pushmobile" models of several concept cars that Studebaker designed. These concept cars were far more attractive than cars from the Big Three of the era. It' a shame they didn't survive.
It has been said that the basic concept for the design of the Avanti was done during a flight, by Sherwood Egbert of Studebaker. Raymond Loewy may also have had a hand in the design. Studebaker was in trouble. They needed a car, quick! No time (or money) to tool up to build the car in steel. So fibreglass was used. Egbert designed the car on a napkin during that flight. I love it!

路"On the Way to Going Broke" I owned a few BMW M models. Although I thought my '88 Black M6 was the sexiest, this '93 ran the best. Been to Track Time at Watkins Glen twice and ran One Lap of America with my with in 95.

路During my Daliy walk I search for houses and cars I like I will post few cars a house or two I like each day well some of these pictures are from Bend such as the Vovlo, AMAZING Porsche 911t 1968-69 best Porsche I have seen in real life(late 60s Porsche 911t is one of my favorite cars of all time)the mg is at the Steamup near Salem Oregon an event all about old motors the rest are cars and houses around first Volvo like that that I have seen! I have a slight obsession with old police cars my dad owned a convertible 1978 MG for about four years as a Daliy driver// from how many on this forum apparently like 80s/70s bmws I thought this bmw was nice the guy who owns it owns two the black car is a 1963 Chevy Impala That is most of the car pictures I have that I took on my phone since I think May besides the red Toyota which I will get another picture of tomorrow

If I had another garage bay, I would have one of these, a 1973 Oldsmobile 98 Regency. My father had one from when I was 11 to the week before I got my permit... I was a bit upset when he got rid of it. I got to drive it once, and it was a dream.
WOULDN'T IT GO SWELL WITH MY TV DIAL SPEEDMASTER?! I think so.
But I do drive my dream car (I believe in attainable goals) - a turbo 2005 Subaru Forester. It can go pretty much anywhere, can hold an amazing amount of stuff, and is a lot of fun to drive.
