As a Bond fan, and reason I got into Omega (although when this car was 1st in the movie, Bond's watch of choice was Rolex not Seamaster)

And even though I am not a fan of American cars, I always liked this one (67 Shelby GT500)

Superb car but in UK had a massive rust problem which on mine caused the passenger and passenger seat to drop through the floor of the car when I was braking to stop at lights in rush hour traffic. After the initial shock we and the people in the traffic jam behind had a good laugh but the real embarrassment was being towed away by a kind old fellow in his Austin Allegro.I will not post a picture of the Allegrp on such a themed thread but if you get chance please google it to gaze upon a car that epitomises some of the woes that afflicted the British car industry
I'm the man who used to deal with all those complaints for Alfa Romeo GB in the late 70s/80s. It was hairy, but quite a lot of owners were surprisingly forgiving about all the other aspects of the cars and, like me, had a tremendous respect for and love of the history and past achievements of the factory. But no wonder people loved the 'Sud: pretty styling, fabulous flat 4 engines, inboard front discs, great handling and, overall, just something a bit out of the mainstream.

Here's a few old pics of my '87 318i that I bought back in 2012 as a beater for $700US in Germany. Drove here for about 20 months without issue and then sold her again in 2014 when I moved to California....

Got this tucked away.
Tires are Redline's now.
Yea it's a 435. Unrestored.
I was wondering if you were going to show us this beauty. I'll bet there not many miles on the odometer to boot 😉
I'd tell you to drive it in good health, but I'll bet you only drive it on sunny Sundays and not very often 😀

I had three. One was a 1976 Camaro LT Rally Sport. The wife picked it out. I wanted a 75 left over Monte Carlo, red with white interior and a white top. Then there is the 1973 Olds 98 LS. Finest car I ever owned. 9 miles to the gallon. Drove it through the blizzard of 78. Went anywhere and every where. The most fun one was a 1973 Fiat 124 Sport Coupe. Emissions choked it down so I had a friend of mine redo the intake and exhaust ports and stick a 1969 carb on it. It ran like a scalded cat and would blow off a V8 Mustang II. Sure miss the last one.

It really is lovely. Get all sorts of positive attention (usually from

The second was an '89 Milano Verde. The Alfa's handling and engine sounds were sublime.

Thought this was about Cars we dream about. But gladly seeing some members share their own Cars. Here's mine, 1959 all original MGA. Thinking lately about doing the obvious Rally mods to it, cut down comp. Windshield, Bumper delete, Sebring front valance... Etc. But then again you don't see many untouched MGA's around anymore ...

And my first Vintage car, 1978 Triumph Spitfire... It was a blast to drive, when it was running tho..
Sold that one, missing it ever since.

I'm taking a 57 MGA up to Monterey from Los Angelas for the vintage races. 7 hours in an A will be interesting. It does have a B series motor though.

This may be off topic foo2 but what Omega is in your profile picture? Also sounds like fun I would love to race on a track some day!
