Were you able to get your helium escape valve sorted out? I'm curious as to what your dealer said, or if this could be normal for a 2201.50? My Planet Ocean Helium escape valve doesn't screw down flush either.
It doesn't surprise me the OP didn't come back. He posted here with a serious question and the first several responses were nothing but smart ass jokes. I see it all the time. Not just here but other forums as well. It's not funny and it doesn't create an environment for first time people to want to come back.
Oh, settle down.

Nope. Don't condone A-hole behavior.
It's hard to tell from your photo if there's a problem. It doesn't look as extended out as the OP's, but it doesn't look as flush as my 2201.50 (photo below).
That said, I wouldn't worry about it if it passed water pressure testing. My belief is that the helium valve tube hasn't been fully inserted into the case. But as long as there is a good seal between the tube and case and the tube and crown, I would suspect that's a cosmetic problem. Hopefully @Archer will stop in as I'm sure he will know what the issue is (if it is an issue).
To be sure, I would recommend taking the watch to an Omega certified watchmaker if you have one you area to be inspected.
Old jokes about helium in watches is hardly A-hole behavior. You’re wound a little too tight.
Do you really think a first time poster thought the "joke" was funny?
damo125 posted this at the end of his 2nd post.
"I wasn’t aware of the risk of escaping helium but my voice has been a bit squeaky recently…. 😀"
Seems to me the poster was able to understand the humor concerning helium and made his own joke. The only one with his nose out of joint is you.
Which was his last post on this site.
Several posts seem to imply that helium might “escape” from the watch.
You may have missed this "educational" thread Doug.

Thread 'Big problem with helium escape' ·When running into problems with my Rolex Sea-Dweller and its helium valve I got some good info that I would like to share. I guess most of it is applicable on Omega: s with helium valves also.
