ShinyWatch
·Hi folks,
Looking for a bit of advice.
I bought a Speedmaster Racing about 12 months ago brand new and it has always been a bit fast. It’s my first ever luxury watch so not really sure what to expect. Throughout the year I clearly remember having to wind it back a bit. So a month ago I thought I would do a test see just how fast it is.
I set it to the exact second in time with my computer which is getting time updates off the internet so was as accurate as I could get it.
For the first few days the difference wasn’t so noticeable. I’ve checked again this morning and it’s almost 1 min 30 seconds out. That means over the year without any adjustment it will be about 15 mins fast.
I appreciate it’s not a Master Chronometer but is still a standard chronometer so should be keeping reasonable time.
Is this acceptable for this watch? Or should I get it looked at?
Thanks
Rob
