I’ve decided to part with this fantastic 18k IWC following the recent purchase of a Centenary from a fellow member and another potential purchase in the works.

The watch features IWC’s version of a ‘pie-pan’ dial, which based on my research is less common than the pie-pan dials on Omega Constellation models. The dial on this particular model might be solid gold - I’m not sure if the solid gold dials were limited to the De Luxe lineup. The sunburst dial is in well preserved condition. Original dauphine style hands with lume intact. The second hand appears to be a replacement.

The watch features a heavy, solid 18k gold case. Hallmarks are present on the lugs. The case has likely been polished at some point over the years but is well preserved, showing light signs of wear.

Inside is a 21 jewel cal. 8531 pellaton automatic movement. The movement was serviced by my watchmaker about 3 weeks ago - his inscription can be seen on the inside of the case back.

The pictured strap is not included in the sale.

Price: $1900 USD (net) plus shipping at cost.

Not interested in trades.

Plenty of references as buyer and seller that can be provided upon request.

Just to answer a few questions I've received - the case measures approximately 34.5mm not including the crown, the case w/ movement weighs approximately 40 grams and the case back is solid 18k yellow gold - the reflection/lighting in the photo may be distorting the color.

I will be travelling to the USA on Saturday and can ship from Bellingham with USPS for US-based members.
