In my opinion the watch itself is original but not the bezel insert. This is a aftermarket one.
Price should be below 1k

Original watch, fake bezel. Interesting, never thought about that. Could be a possibility. This was given to me by my father decades ago, he had orginally said he bought them at a jewellery trade show. No box or papers.

Vitriol, thanks for the exact specs!

For me this is genuine bezel insert, just scratched and faded over the time.

Compare this original 3. It has sharp edges at the top of the upper blue part

Thank you everyone for your info. I got the watch serviced, Japanese battery was put in before and there was some minor leakage. Had it all cleaned up, gaskets checked and now it's up and running!

Forgot to adjust bracelet, it's running a bit loose. Will need to bring it back in for adjustment.

Does the case back and second hand look right? I haven’t see opener slots on a case back like this. Also the line on the second hand looks too small imo.

Its correct. That's how the caseback is on the older SMP.

By the way the watch is real.

I see nothing at all for concern there. Normally the lume pip is the tell on fake inserts, that looks right. FYI that is a Superluminova lume model so post 1998. There is actually an Omega campaign at present to exchange SMP bezels with faded inserts for free. It might be worth having a conversation with a boutique or service centre. Al Archer on here mentioned this. No idea of the terms and conditions. Don’t bother with an extract of the archives, it’ll cost you a significant proportion of the value (~20%), if indeed they will give one at all, the cut off is or was year 2000, this watch could be later.

Interesting. First I've heard of a bezel campaign.

I dont plan to get an extract, a bit too pricey for me. I'm going to wear it and enjoy. Hmmm maybe I'll call around to see if anyone knows about this bezel campaign.

Hello Members
Kindly help to analyse if this is a fake or real.

Look at pictures of the genuine version of the watch and see if any have a solid caseback. That's your answer.

The model reference is 210.30.44.51.06.001 if you're having trouble using The Google.

I doubt it
That's why am asking for a second opinion before purchasing it.
