·Im not up on vintage JLC but anytime a seller says it’s been serviced but can’t provide proof I think it’s highly likely to mean one of the following;
1. It hasn’t been serviced at all, but they’re gambling that if they sell all of their watches with that description, only 1 in 10 will come back with issues at which point they’ll carry out a cheap repair as that’s more profitable in the long run.
2. It’s had a quick and dirty service by a watchmaker who just churns them out quickly and cheaply.
There’s always the possibility it’s had a good service by a competent watchmaker who just doesn’t provide paperwork to their trade customers but that’s less likely than there other two options.
